Renowned American singer-songwriter and actress, Lady Gaga has disclosed some unique insights into her relationship with fiancé Michael Polansky, highlighting the support he provided during a difficult time in her mental health journey.
The Oscar-winning artist and the tech entrepreneur initially ignited romance speculation around New Year’s Eve 2019 and made their relationship public on Instagram in early 2020.
Despite their prominent positions, the couple has maintained a discreet approach to their personal relationship.
She disclosed during a recent interview with Vogue magazine that her mother played a pivotal role in introducing her to her fiancé, Michael Polansky.
The 38-year-old artist revealed that her mother informed her of finding a suitable partner for her after meeting the 46-year-old Polansky.
The singer expressed her surprise and delight at her mother’s ability to identify the “most ideal individual” for her.
She said, “My mom met him and she said to me, ‘I think I just met your husband,’ and I said, ‘I’m not ready to meet my husband!’ I could never have imagined that my mom…found the most perfect person for me?”
Lady Gaga confirmed her engagement to Polansky during a conversation with the French prime minister Gabriel Attal at the Paris Olympics in July.
The couple first sparked dating rumours after they were spotted together at a New Year’s Eve party in Las Vegas in 2019.
They went on to confirm their relationship a few months later on Instagram.
In early 2023, they reportedly separated for a time, according to the Daily Mail – but appeared to have reunited by August that year.
In March this year, they celebrated Gaga’s 38th birthday with a group of friends at Giorgio Baldi in California.
